The Little Pop Artist

Elissa, Age 7

One of my favorite self portraits, done by my goddaughter Elissa. I thought it's pretty amazing how each drawing is a duplicate of each other. It will take me eons to achieve this level, I'm glad Adobe programs came to existence. Speaking of Adobe, I thought it would be fun to make this into pop art. So, here's the final product done in Illustrator.

Isn't life a series of images that change as they repeat themselves?

A Very Late Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I'm back! Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! The long crazy hours has temporarily ceased. I hope you all had a wonderful time with family and friends. I have a long list of New Year's resolutions and blogging is one of them – I hope to update my blog more and work on a new layout.

I don't have any new sketches or paintings but I have a few doodles that I want to share with everyone and I want to start with this. I received a box of Harry & David Peppermint Bark on Christmas from my Ayame and when I opened the box I found these cut-outs. I know it's a little too late or too early for Christmas but I thought they were so adorable. I hope you enjoyed them and belated HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

It is Christmas in the heart that puts Christmas in the air.
